ParklandGEO had implemented Aimsio as their project management and invoicing system, centralizing their field tickets, project information, and billing workflows. But once the system was in place, a new challenge emerged: how do we turn all this data into clear, meaningful, real-time reporting?
ParklandGEO needed reporting tools built for the way they operate and the vision they already had — not generic dashboards or one-size-fits-all solutions. That’s where we came in.

Custom Power BI Reporting Built for Engineering Operations.
To transform their Aimsio data into meaningful insights, ParklandGEO partnered with Pontem Innovations to develop fully customized Power BI reports tailored to their operations — including a WIP Report and a Ticket Breakdown Report built for the Insights Module.

As a nonprofit, managing financial resources is critical — especially during times of inflation and high vendor costs. Civida closely monitors its budget and forecast for each of its 1,420+ sites every month, with the Finance and Property Management teams working as a united team.
As Civida continues to grow in sites and tenants, expanding their impact across the province, leadership identified a need to streamline budgeting and forecasting by automating steps that save significant time and energy.
The Solution
Custom-Built Forecasting.
Pontem Innovations created a customized Forecasting Tool that automatically pulled data from Yardi, their off-the-shelf property management system. It enabled Property Managers to enter forecasted amounts by GL code for the remaining months of the fiscal year, with the flexibility to straight-line the remaining budget or enter one-time expenses in the month they’re expected to occur.

Civida saved significant time by no longer having the Finance and Property Management teams pull three Yardi reports per site per month (upwards of 80 reports monthly). Property Managers were empowered with a modernized Power Platform tool to input forecasts, with data stored in a database rather than large, error-prone spreadsheets. When changes are needed they’re much easier to make — with the impact to the site’s budget, the division’s budget, and the whole organization’s budget automatically apparent in a robust dashboard.
This new time and energy can now be spent analyzing and strategizing on how to help Civida’s beneficiaries more, instead of tinkering with data. Building capacity leads to empowered teams and brighter ideas for the future.
